California AB 1263 & SB 704 Compliance

Notice of Firearms Manufacturing Law

Be aware that the following activities constitute a crime in the state of California:

  • Manufacturing more than three firearms per calendar year in California.
  • Manufacturing a firearm using a three-dimensional printer or CNC milling machine.
  • Manufacturing a firearm for the purpose of selling or transferring ownership of that firearm to another individual who is not licensed to manufacture firearms.
  • Manufacturing a firearm for the purpose of selling, loaning, or transferring that firearm, with the intent to complete the sale, loan, or transfer without a required background check initiated by a licensed firearms dealer.
  • Allowing, facilitating, aiding, or abetting the manufacture of a firearm by a person who is legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
  • Manufacturing, or causing the manufacture of, assault weapons, machineguns, undetectable firearms, un-serialized firearms, unsafe handguns that are not on the Department of Justice roster of handguns certified for sale in California, or other generally prohibited weapons.

Identity Confirmation & Shipping

To complete the processing and shipment of your order, the following steps are required:

  1. You must provide ID proof that you are at least 18 years of age. This can be a scan of a government ID such as a driver's license or some other official identifying document that includes your address and date of birth.
  2. ORDERS INCLUDING BARRELS: Shipment must be received by a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. It is your responsibility to make arrangements with a FFL willing to receive and transfer your barrel shipment to you. Include the FFL's name and contact information below. Upload a copy of their FFL license if you have one or request that one be sent to us at service@jprifles.com. Your order will not ship until this is received.
  3. ORDERS NOT INCLUDING BARRELS: Unless your order contains a barrel, your order must ship via UPS to a UPS Access Point (such as a UPS Store). For pickup, you must present your ID and sign for the package. You may select a UPS Access Point location and list it below. Otherwise, we will select the one closest to you, which will be viewable in your tracking information.

Because most California shipments will not ship to you directly, you are responsible for coordinating final receipt of the product by pickup at the UPS Access Point or arrangement with your FFL. By completing this form, you agree that JP is not responsible for packages after final delivery nor for any re-shipment charges that may take place due to refused packages or late pickup.
