RFX Upgrade:
Our standard Supermatch™ .22 barrel is the perfect base for a pinker up to a budget-friendly trainer for .223 or 9mm. For a light-weight, precision rimfire setup, our RFX Light is an alternative contour of the same heavy barrel we offer in the full RFX rifle. In our testing, we've seen identical performance between the bull barrel and this light version, offering a 1-lb. weight savings over the standard RFX barrel with no drawback. * Our standard Supermatch™ uses a sporting chamber that is adaptable for a wide range of ammunition and more dirt tolerance. The RFX variant uses a tighter match chamber that will require more frequent cleaning in exchange for highly improved accuracy.
Compatibility:
A Mil-spec dust cover will not be compatible with the JP .22 LR bolt assembly. The optional dust cover is intended to serve this purpose.
Barrel Finish:
This barrel is available with the following finish options:
Machine Finish: Barrel is in its unpolished, "as-machined" state and will show light turning marks and slight imperfections.
Light Polish: Barrel receives a light "brushed" finish. This leaves the surface uniform and removes most machine marks and blemishes.
High-Grade Polish: Barrel is polished to a reflective finish on the same level as our complete rifles and barrel kits.
Black Teflon®: Barrel receives a uniform low-shine black coating.
Tactical Finish: Barrel is blasted to a non-reflective, matte gray finish.
Heat Sink
This barrel takes our long .750 OD Thermal Dissipator (JPTD750L).
Note that the Orange Fade Thermal Dissipator is made to order and will add two weeks to delivery.
